Every project is individual, but, following these principles allow us to provide great copywriting.

Where will the copy appear?

Is the copy intended for a website, an email campaign, a brochure, or a technical document? Our style of copywriting will be catered to the media it's carried on.

What's your deadline?

We can move quickly if you need us to but we're often juggling our copywriting projects. Can you be specific on when the copy is needed?

What do you want the copy to achieve?

Do you need the copywriting to increase sale conversions or generate more leads? Are we promoting your brand or a specific promotion? We'll provide the words that produce results.

Who's your ideal audience?

We have to understand the audience in order to write something that will appeal to them. We'll produce targeted copywriting so your customers think ‘yes, this person is speaking to me!’ We will also consider whether there's a secondary audience we need to consider.

How should the copy be written?

Short and authoritative, warm and friendly, or zany and unusual? Do you have any examples of business copywriting or websites you really like? Or hate!?

Our Copywriting Terms and Conditions

With our copywriting services, trust and professionalism remain our key business drivers

Working with Copywriting London

We understand that every job we undertake will be different and nothing will take the place of a good conversation and mutual trust. However, before we start working on your project, we need you to confirm that you have read and agree to these terms.


The Contract

Copywriting London will act as an independent contractor in our dealings with our clients.


Pricing

Our standard copywriting fees are £50 per hour, or £350 a day, but every project is different and so prices can vary. We will always provide a quote so you know the costs exactly. Changes to the original brief initiated by the client may require us to adjust the cost. The total fee will include:


·  A free quote including a free interview if necessary.

·  Three drafts, if necessary.

·  Any minor amendments.

·  Advice and consultation as necessary.


Any additional work requested not covered in the original brief will be quoted separately and added to the invoice.


The Copywriting Brief

The Brief will, typically, be supplied by the client and must clearly outline the project requirements. For the sake of clarity, the client can complete and return our briefing form to ensure all the necessary requirements are in place before work starts.


Copywriting Sevices Commencement

Before the project is undertaken, we require a confirmation email, stating:

·  You have read and agree to my terms and conditions

·  You are authorised to commission the project

·  You agree to our fees


Timescales

Every effort to ensure your project is delivered to deadline will be made and it’s important we are fully aware of any deadlines before we start. In the unlikely event that we cannot meet the agreed deadline, we will let you know as soon as possible. We will not be held liable for any loss or damages to any party as a result of missing a deadline.


Payment Terms for Direct Clients and Agencies

For new clients, we require a 50% deposit of the total fee before commencing work. We then invoice for the remaining 50% once the client is satisfied. Staggered payments may be apt for larger projects and will be due when project milestones are reached. All invoices are sent electronically, unless agreed otherwise and are payable within 7 days of receipt. We accept payments by BACS or cheque.

If the copywriting forms part of a bigger project such as when working with agencies, we still require a 50% deposit to be made before we start work. When the copywriting part of the project is complete, the remainder should be paid within 7 days.


Intellectual Property Rights

Upon completion of the project and once we have received payment, all copyrights are automatically transferred to the client. We reserve the right to use any extracts of our work for our portoflio.


Errors and Omissions

We make every effort to ensure that the project is proofread, grammatically accurate and factually referenced where applicable. However, when signing off the project, the client takes final responsibility for its accuracy.


Indemnity

By using our services, you agree to indemnify us against any claim resulting from the use of our written material or from unsought permissions to use our material.

Although every piece of written content we produce is original, the client accepts full responsibility for checking the authenticity of the project, including research materials and citations supplied.
